EDINBURG TX – Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District has launched its 2026 Summer Meals Program, offering free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years of age and younger through the Seamless Summer Food Service Program at multiple campuses and community locations across the city.

The program is entirely free and requires no registration. All meals must be eaten in the dining room on site. Families may call 211 or visit summerfood.org to find a participating location.

Meal Times, Dates, and Locations

Elementary schools are serving breakfast from 7:45 to 8:15 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., from June 4 through June 26. Participating elementary campuses include Lincoln Elementary, Cano-Gonzalez Elementary, Crawford Elementary, and Flores-Zapata Elementary. Trevino Elementary and De Zavala Elementary join the program June 8 through June 12.

Middle schools are serving breakfast from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., from June 4 through June 26. Participating middle school campuses are Harwell Middle School, B.L. Garza Middle School, and Barrientes Middle School.

High schools are serving breakfast from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., from June 4 through July 3. Participating high school campuses include Edinburg High School, J. Economedes High School, Edinburg North High School, Collegiate High School, and Robert Vela High School.

The City of Edinburg Parks & Recreation Department, 315 E. Mark S. Peña Drive, is also participating, serving breakfast from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., from June 8 through July 31. For information, call (956) 381-5631.
