Edinburg TX – The Edinburg Police Department will host a three-day Women’s Self-Defense Course June 1 through 3, 2026, at the Cpl. Derek Hernandez Police Training Facility, 1313 N. Doolittle Road.

Each session will run from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The course is open to women ages 18 and older and will be taught by Edinburg Police Department officers. Participants will learn skills and techniques to defend themselves from potential threats.

Those interested in registering may do so at surveymonkey.com/r/RADJune123. Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and footwear in preparation for hands-on training.
