Edinburg Library to Kick Off 2026 Summer Reading Program with Dinosaur Show June 3

EDINBURG TX – The City of Edinburg Library & Cultural Arts department will host the 2026 Summer Reading Program Kickoff Party on Wednesday, June 3, at the Edinburg Activity Center, 123 Mark S. Peña Drive.

The event will feature two dinosaur shows by Jurassic RGV Dinosaur Experience, with presentations at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Families may attend either showing. On-site registration for the Summer Reading Program and hands-on activities will also be available.

The event is sponsored by H-E-B and the Friends of the Edinburg Public Library.
