Edinburg to host Easter Egg Hunt at Municipal Park on Thursday, April 2

Edinburg, TX – The City of Edinburg Parks and Recreation Department will host a free Easter Egg Hunt on April 2, 2026, at Edinburg Municipal Park. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 714 S. Raul Longoria Road. Activities will be held on the south side of the park at the soccer fields.

Event schedule

According to the announcement, egg hunts will be organized by age group throughout the evening. Children ages 3 and under will begin at 6 p.m., followed by ages 4 to 5 at 6:15 p.m. Hunts for ages 6 to 7, 8 to 9 and 10 to 12 are scheduled for 6:25 p.m., 6:35 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., respectively. An inclusive hunt for individuals with disabilities will take place at 7 p.m., followed by ages 13 and older at 7:15 p.m.

Participation details

Organizers said the event will include Easter eggs distributed across multiple fields for participating children. Parking will be available on site for attendees. The event is open to the public and intended to provide seasonal activities for families in the community.
