Edinburg, TX – Teens and tweens are invited to close out the year with a hands-on craft program at the City of Edinburg’s Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library.
The City of Edinburg Library and Cultural Arts Department will host a DIY Embroidery Class on Tuesday, Dec. 30, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library. The program is open to ages 11 to 18 and does not require advance registration.
Teen and tween holiday programming
The embroidery class is part of the library’s Teen & Tween Program series, which offers creative and educational activities designed specifically for middle and high school-aged participants. Library staff said the session will introduce basic embroidery techniques in a relaxed, holiday-themed setting.
Participants will have the opportunity to create their own embroidered designs while learning foundational stitching skills.
How to participate
The event is free and open to the public within the age range. Supplies will be provided while available. Library officials encouraged early arrival due to space limitations.
