Today – Edinburg Library to Host Family Emergency Preparedness Program July 22

EDINBURG TX – As hurricane season intensifies, the Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library, in partnership with Hidalgo County, will host a Family Emergency Preparedness Program on Tuesday, July 22, at 2 p.m.
The free event is open to all ages and aims to educate the public on how to stay safe during emergencies. Topics will include steps to take during an emergency, how to prepare meals without electricity, and information on local resources available to residents.
The program will be held at the library, located at 1906 S. Closner Blvd. Attendees will receive practical tips and guidance to help them better prepare for disasters and other emergency situations.
