Edinburg Library Offers Week of Creative Activities for Teens and Tweens

EDINBURG TX – The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library is continuing its summer programming with a week of hands-on activities designed for teens and tweens ages 11 to 18.
From July 21 to July 30, the library’s Reference Department will host daily events that promote creativity, learning, and fun. Activities will be held at the library, located at 1906 S. Closner Blvd., and are free to attend.
The schedule includes:
- July 21 at 6 p.m. – Line Dancing for Teens
- July 22 at 6 p.m. – DIY Perler Bookmarker
- July 23 at 6 p.m. – Summer Night Sky Painting
- July 27 at 2 p.m. – No-Bake Desserts Workshop
- July 28 at 6 p.m. – DIY Colorful Stained Glass
- July 29 at 6 p.m. – DIY Clay Dish
- July 30 at 6 p.m. – Colorful Paper Mache Bird
Although the Summer Reading Program has concluded, library officials say these events are a way to keep students engaged and entertained through the end of July.
