Edinburg to Host Texas Music Office Info Session for Local Industry Leaders

EDINBURG TX – The City of Edinburg, in partnership with the Texas Music Office, will host a free informational session for local music venue operators, festival organizers, and community leaders on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Edinburg ACE Center, located at 315 W. McIntyre St.
The session will cover two major initiatives aimed at boosting local music economies: the Music Friendly Texas Program and the Texas Music Incubator Rebate (TMIR) Program. The Music Friendly certification connects cities with resources to support music industry growth, while the TMIR Program provides eligible venues and promoters with rebates of up to $100,000.
The event will also feature networking opportunities, expert presentations, and a complimentary lunch. Advanced registration is required to attend.
The Texas Music Office, a division of the Office of the Governor, works to promote economic development within Texas’ music industry by providing information and resources to music professionals across the state.
