Edinburg Opens Warming Center Monday, Tuesday Night

EDINBURG, TX — The City of Edinburg has opened a warming center at the Sekula Memorial Library to assist residents during the upcoming freezing weather. The warming center will be available from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. on the evenings of Jan. 20-21 and Jan. 21-22.

Residents using the warming center are encouraged to bring essential items, including overnight medications, pillows, blankets, and non-perishable food or snacks. Pets are not allowed at the facility. The library will operate under its regular hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the day.

The Sekula Memorial Library is located at 1906 S. Closner Blvd. in Edinburg. For more information, residents can call 956-383-6246.
