Edinburg PD Identify Dead Male

Edinburg TX – March 13, 2023

The Edinburg Police Department identified the deceased male found on Saturday.

Mauro Garza, a 48-year-old resident of Edinburg, was identified as the deceased person reported on Saturday. The investigation is ongoing, and an autopsy is pending.

On Saturday, March 11, 2023 at about 7:15 a.m., the Edinburg Police Department received a call in reference to a body located on the 3200 block of Turquoise St. Edinburg PD officers responded to the scene and located a deceased male whose body was in a state of decomposition.
