Edinburg Seeks Parade Entries for Veterans Day Procession Nov. 7; Deadline Oct. 29

Edinburg TX – The City of Edinburg is accepting entries for its upcoming Veterans Day Parade, honoring past and present members of the U.S. Armed Forces. The entry deadline is Oct. 29, 2026.

The parade will take place Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, along Closner Boulevard, known as the Boulevard of Heroes, beginning at 10 a.m. The procession will step off from Richard R. Flores Stadium at the intersection of 1800 S. Stadium Dr. and Mark Pena Dr. and conclude at Closner Boulevard and Kuhn Street.

Float lineup begins at 7 a.m., with float judging at 8:30 a.m.

Community members, schools, non-profit organizations, and veterans’ groups are invited to participate free of charge by entering a float or decorating businesses along the parade route. Standard participant entries carry a $50 registration fee. Political entries are welcome for $250 and will be placed at the end of the procession.

Entrants are also encouraged to compete in the Most Patriotic Float Competition, with trophies awarded for first, second, and third place. Vehicles smaller than a standard pickup truck bed are ineligible for the competition.
