Edinburg TX – The Edinburg Fire Department will host Sparky’s Back to School Bash on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, at the Promenade Park Amphitheater, 201 W. McIntyre St. The event is free.

Free haircuts for students in kindergarten through 12th grade will be available beginning at 3 p.m. at the ACE Building on a first-come, first-served basis for boys and girls.

The amphitheater program begins at 6 p.m. with the following schedule:

• 6 p.m.: Games, moon jumps, and a scavenger hunt; free hot dogs, chips, and water
• 7 p.m.: Free freeze pops
• 7:45 p.m.: Raffle No. 1 — iPad and a basket from Mike’s Barber School
• 8 to 10 p.m.: Outdoor screening of “The SpongeBob Movie”; free pizza, popcorn, and juices
• 9 p.m.: Raffle No. 2 — Nintendo Switch, PS5, and MetaQuest VR Headset
