Edinburg TX – The Edinburg Police Department will host a free three-day Women’s Self-Defense Course July 27-29, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. each evening at the Edinburg Police Training Facility, 1309 N. Doolittle Rd.

The course, offered through the Rape Aggression Defense Systems program, is open to females ages 18 and older from all cities. The hands-on training is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to defend themselves in the event of an attack. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
