Edinburg postpones 5th Annual Dirty Duathlon to April 25 due to trail conditions

EDINBURG, Texas — The City of Edinburg Parks and Recreation Department has postponed the 5th Annual Dirty Duathlon originally scheduled for Saturday, April 11, due to muddy conditions on the Nature Hike & Bike Trails and anticipated rainfall this week.
The event has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 25, with the start time remaining at 7:30 a.m. at the original location.

City officials cited trail safety concerns caused by recent rain and expected weather conditions as the reason for postponing the outdoor race.
Registration for the event will remain open, allowing participants additional time to sign up.
Race Details
The Dirty Duathlon includes running and cycling segments along Edinburg’s Nature Hike & Bike Trails. Participants receive race materials including a bib, shirt and medal, with age division awards planned.
Registration fees are listed at $20 for individual participants and $30 for relay teams.
