Edinburg, TX – The Edinburg Municipal Court will offer an amnesty program allowing residents to resolve outstanding fines and fees without additional penalties from Feb. 23 through April 30, 2026.

Program details

During the amnesty period, residents with Class C misdemeanors, including unpaid traffic citations or active warrants, may pay their fines or establish a payment plan without incurring added fees. Court officials said failure-to-appear charges will also be waived for individuals who voluntarily participate.

Court hours and location

The Edinburg Municipal Court will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Participants must appear in person at the court, located at 100 E. Freddy Gonzalez Drive.
