Edinburg library to host citizenship orientation sessions in February and March

Edinburg, TX – The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library will host citizenship orientation sessions on Saturday, Feb. 28, and Saturday, March 7.

The sessions are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and will be offered in a bilingual format.

Program details

The orientation sessions are part of the library’s U.S. citizenship preparation classes. Classes are offered free of charge at the Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library, 1906 S. Closner Blvd.

Sessions will be provided by Uniendo Naciones, Solo Por Servir, a nonprofit organization.

Schedule details

Following the orientation sessions, regular classes will begin March 28 and continue every Saturday through April 25.

Spanish-language classes are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bilingual classes are scheduled from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Graduation is scheduled for May 2.
