Highway 107 lane closures set for pavement striping work

Edinburg, TX – Pavement striping is scheduled this week along State Highway 107 in Hidalgo County, and drivers can expect daytime lane reductions, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The work will take place Thursday and Friday between FM 907 (Alamo Road) and Sharp Road. Crews will reduce the roadway to one travel lane in the work zone from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Motorists are urged to use caution, watch for workers in the area and allow extra time for possible delays. TxDOT noted that the schedule depends on weather conditions and the work will be rescheduled if it rains.
