Staff Report
Edinburg, TX – The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library will celebrate the release of its newest anthology, “The Write Stuff Writes More Stuff,” with a special book launch event on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m.
Members of the library’s Write Stuff Club will read selections from the new publication, which features original works by local writers. The evening will also include an open mic session, inviting area authors and poets to share their own writing with the audience.
The event is open to the public and will take place at the library, located at 1906 S. Closner Blvd. in Edinburg. Organizers encourage community members interested in creative writing to attend and learn more about joining the Write Stuff Club, which meets monthly to explore writing styles, discuss publication opportunities, and provide peer feedback.
The club, supported by the Edinburg Library & Cultural Arts Department, has now published two anthologies featuring works by local authors.
