Staff Report

Edinburg, TX – The City of Edinburg Cultural Arts Department will close out its 11th Annual Los Muertos Bailan Festival with a high-energy performance by La Misión Colombiana de Roberto Vázquez on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 9:30 p.m. The free concert will take place at the Promenade Park Amphitheater, 201 W. McIntyre St.

Known for their infectious cumbia rhythms and lively stage presence, La Misión Colombiana will bring their signature Latin sound to the heart of downtown Edinburg as part of the city’s Día de los Muertos celebration. The performance caps off a full evening of cultural festivities, live entertainment, artisan markets and the festival’s traditional procession.

The Los Muertos Bailan Festival honors the Mexican tradition of Día de los Muertos through art, music, dance and remembrance, celebrating life while paying tribute to loved ones who have passed. This year marks the event’s 11th anniversary and its first year as a two-day festival.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the parade, food vendors and interactive art activities throughout the festival grounds. Admission is free and open to the public.
