ECISD, Hidalgo County Health to Host Community Vaccine Clinic On Thursday

Edinburg, TX – Edinburg CISD, in partnership with Hidalgo County Health, will host a public vaccine clinic on Thursday, Oct. 16, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the ECISD Bus Transportation Annex, 1015 E. Schunior.

The clinic will offer vaccines for children and young adults, including 4-year-old boosters, 7th-grade boosters, and college-required immunizations. No appointment is necessary, and families are asked to bring their vaccine cards to the event.

Vaccines are free for pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and 7th-grade students. For others, the cost is $10 per vaccine for ages 0–18 and $20 for individuals 19 and older. Medicaid and CHIP recipients will receive vaccines at no cost.

The clinic aims to ensure students meet school immunization requirements and help families stay up to date on essential vaccines.
