Chamber to Host Ribbon Cuttings for Hidalgo Nursing & Rehab Center on Tuesday and University Barbershop on Friday

Edinburg, TX – The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce will host two ribbon-cutting ceremonies next week, celebrating both a business anniversary and a new local opening.
The first event will take place Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 1 p.m. at the Hidalgo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 4503 S. Sugar Rd. The ceremony marks the facility’s anniversary and introduction of a new management team. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet staff, enjoy refreshments, and network with Chamber members and community leaders.
Later in the week, the Chamber will welcome a new business to the community with a ribbon-cutting for University Barbershop on Friday, Oct. 10, at 4:30 p.m. The shop, located at 317 S. Sugar Rd., sits just across from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. The owners are offering 20 percent discounts for UTRGV students, faculty, and staff, as well as for law enforcement and military members.
Both events are open to the public, and the Chamber encourages community members to attend and show their support for local businesses.
The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce has served as a vital link between the business community and city leadership for more than a century.
