Virtual Safety Series Offers Free Parent Workshops on Cyberbullying, Gaming, and Fentanyl Awareness

EDINBURG TX – Region One ESC’s Parent and Family Engagement department has launched a free virtual series titled Back to School, Back to Safety, offering weekly sessions for parents on cyber safety, online bullying, gaming safety, and fentanyl awareness.
The series runs every Tuesday in August and is presented in both English and Spanish. English sessions are held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by Spanish sessions from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The upcoming schedule includes:
- Aug. 5 – Cyber Safety
- Aug. 12 – Cyberbullying
- Aug. 19 – Gaming Safety
- Aug. 26 – Fentanyl Awareness
The initiative is a collaboration between Region One and Crime Stoppers of Houston. Registration is free, and participants will receive a Zoom link upon signing up.
