Library Schedules August Programs for Adults

EDINBURG, TX – The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library will host a variety of free adult programs throughout August, with no registration required and materials provided.

The month’s schedule includes a Lighthouse Painting workshop on Aug. 7 at 6 p.m., Beginners Embroidery on Aug. 12 and 19 at 2 p.m., and Basic Computer Classes on Aug. 11, 18 and 25 at 10 a.m. (bilingual) and 6 p.m. (English). A health presentation, “Taking Charge of Diabetes & Dialysis,” will take place Aug. 23 at 11 a.m., followed by a DIY Mochi class on Aug. 29 at 10 a.m.

The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library, located at 1906 S. Closner Blvd., offers educational, cultural and recreational programs for the Edinburg community year-round. For more information, call 956-383-6246.
