Edinburg Unveils Summer 2025 Parks and Recreation Activity Guide

EDINBURG TX – The City of Edinburg has released its Parks and Recreation Activity Guide for Summer 2025, offering residents a comprehensive look at dozens of programs designed to keep the community active, engaged, and entertained all season long.

The guide features a wide variety of activities for all ages, including swimming lessons, youth sports, dance, art, fitness classes, and senior programs. Public access to splash pads, waterparks, and family leisure programs are also detailed in the seasonal publication.

Registration information, schedules, fees, and program locations are included throughout the guide. Many programs begin in early June, with affordable rates and discounts for families enrolling multiple children.

Here’s a summary of the major activities and areas of fun included in the City of Edinburg Parks & Recreation Summer 2025 Program:


ATHLETICS

  • Summer Track & Tennis
    • Ages: 5–18
    • Fee: $50
    • Track practices held at ECISD Richard R. Flores Stadium
    • Tennis practices at Robert Vela High School
    • Meets scheduled throughout June and early July
    • State qualifiers proceed to College Station

AQUATICS

  • Public Swimming Pools
