Edinburg Police to Host Auto Theft and Burglary Prevention Event April 23

EDINBURG TX – The City of Edinburg and the Edinburg Police Department will host a community event focused on auto theft and burglary prevention on Tuesday, April 23, at Edinburg Municipal Park.
As part of Project 365 and in partnership with National Night Out, the event aims to educate residents on how to protect their vehicles from theft and break-ins. Officers and members of the department’s Auto Theft Division will share information on theft deterrents, local crime statistics, and anti-theft tips.
The event will run from 6 to 8 p.m. and will also include food vendors, games, prizes, music, and more. Free steering wheel locks will be available to attendees while supplies last.
The initiative is part of a year-round effort to promote public safety and crime prevention through community engagement and education.
