Edinburg CISD 2023 School Tax Bills Finally Mailed Out

Edinburg Texas, Dec. 18, 2023 – Hidalgo County Tax Assessor & Collector Pablo (Paul) Villarreal Jr. announced on Tuesday that the 2023 Edinburg CISD school tax statements have been mailed
The tax statements had been delayed because Villarreal’s office was waiting for the results of the November 7th tax ratification election. Voters approved the tax ratification as presented by the Edinburg CISD.
Mission CISD, Hidalgo ISD, Monte Alto ISD, La Joya ISD, PSJA ISD, McAllen ISD and Progreso ISD also had their tax statements delayed because of similar tax ratification elections.
Edinburg property owners who may not have received a tax statement, can print a statement from the Hidalgo County website: www.hidalgocountytax.org or call the Edinburg Main Office for a balance. Business hours are from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the following locations:

You can pay your 2023 Taxes online at: www.hidalgocountytax.org with Credit/Debit Card or E-Check. You can also pay with Cash or Check at all Lone Star National Bank locations within Hidalgo County. However, your original statement or online statement is required when paying at the bank.
