Edinburg PD Search For Aggravated Robbery Suspects

Edinburg Police need your assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a couple of aggravated robberies that took place on Saturday April 16, 2022 after 6:30am.

The first robbery took place at a restaurant in the 3700 block of West Monte Cristo Rd. Investigators say the two men (pictured below) walked into the restaurant, one of the men displayed a black handgun and both men took off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

Shortly after, around 7am, the same men are seen on surveillance video at a grocery store in the 1900 block of North Sugar Rd. The same man displays a black handgun and both men take off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. 

The first suspect is described as a medium to dark complected man with a slender build wearing a black hoodie-style sweater with white lettering, white Nike sneakers, a multicolored face mask, glasses and a head dress for his hair. He is believed to be carrying a cellphone that is possibly pink in color. 

The second suspect is described as having a heavier build, wearing a thick black jacket with a white shirt underneath, black pants, black shoes, and dark-colored face mask.
