Road Closures and Traffic Advisory Issued for Fiesta Edinburg Parade and Festival

EDINBURG TX — The City of Edinburg has announced temporary road closures and traffic advisories ahead of the 56th Annual Fiesta Edinburg, which runs from Feb. 27 to March 2, 2025, at Bert Ogden Arena.
Parade Road Closures
On Saturday, March 1, hard road closures will begin at 8 a.m. along South Closner Boulevard for the Fiesta Edinburg Parade. The parade will start at 10 a.m. from Richard Flores Stadium, moving northbound on Closner Boulevard and concluding at the Hidalgo County Courthouse. Commuters should plan alternate routes to avoid delays.

Festival Traffic Advisory
Festival attendees should enter the Bert Ogden Arena grounds via E. Alberta Rd. Special traffic measures will be in place on Friday, Feb. 28, and Saturday, March 1, when all southside parking at the arena will be reserved for ticketed concertgoers. Visitors are encouraged to review the event parking map for alternative parking options.
Fiesta Edinburg Highlights
This year’s festival will feature performances by headliners La Mafia, Alicia Villarreal, and Edgardo Nuñez, along with carnival rides, food vendors, and family-friendly activities.
