Women Veterans to Be Honored at Art Social Event in Edinburg

EDINBURG TX – Local organizations will celebrate Women Veterans Recognition Day with an evening of art, refreshments, and community at the “Art Social: Colors of Courage” event on Thursday, June 12.

The event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Edinburg Arts, Culture & Events Center, 315 W. McIntyre Street. Open exclusively to women veterans, the gathering aims to honor the strength, sisterhood and service of female members of the armed forces.

Attendees can expect an evening focused on artistic expression and community connection. The celebration is hosted in collaboration with VFW, the City of Edinburg, the Distinguished Veterans of America Foundation, and American Legion Post 408.
