Pirates Cove Pool to Reopen June 16 with New Summer Hours

EDINBURG TX – The City of Edinburg Parks & Recreation Department will reopen Pirates Cove starting June 16, offering multiple swim sessions throughout the week for residents of all ages.

Admission is $2 for children ages 0–6 and seniors 54 and older, and $3 for individuals ages 7–54. Entry is cash only.

The aquatic facility will operate on a session-based schedule:

  • Mondays: 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Tuesday to Friday: 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. – 5 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Weekends: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8:45 p.m.

The facility is part of the city’s ongoing commitment to provide affordable, family-friendly recreational options during the summer months.
