Edinburg Filmmaker to Debut Creature Feature “Mantopus” at Citrus Live

EDINBURG, TX — Edinburg filmmaker Joshua Kennedy is set to unveil his latest horror film, Mantopus, at its world premiere on May 16, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at The Citrus Live, located at 108 N. 12th Ave.

The film, which was shot on 16mm film in the Rio Grande Valley, is a monster movie five years in the making and was written, produced, and directed by Kennedy. Attendees are encouraged to wear red carpet attire for the event. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at [link provided in the event promotion].
