Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library Announces May Programs for Children

EDINBURG, TX — The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library is offering a full lineup of educational and engaging programs for children throughout May, providing opportunities for learning, creativity, and family fun.
The schedule includes:
- Toddler Time: Tuesdays at 10 a.m. (May 6, 13, 20 & 27) — Interactive sessions designed to promote early literacy and motor skills for toddlers.
- Basic Computer Classes: May 1 & 22 at 6 p.m. — Hands-on lessons for children ages 6-11 to learn basic computer skills.
- Family Storytime: Thursday, May 15 at 6 p.m. — Families are invited to enjoy a themed story session together.
- Homeschool Hour: Wednesdays at 11 a.m. (May 7 & 14) — Activities and educational resources for homeschool families.
- Preschool Story Time: Fridays at 10 a.m. (May 9, 16, 23 & 30) — Storytelling sessions aimed at developing early reading skills.
- STEM Explorers: Thursdays at 6 p.m. (May 8 & 29) — Science-themed activities to spark curiosity and learning in young minds.
All programs are free and held at the library located at 1906 S. Closner Blvd., Edinburg. Space is limited, and early arrival is recommended.
