Staff Report

EDINBURG TX – Siddons-Martin Emergency Group has officially opened a new $1.9 million service facility in the Edinburg North Industrial Park, expanding the company’s operations in South Texas and relocating from its previous site in Pharr.

The 12,000-square-foot building, located at 700 Independence Drive, was unveiled during a grand opening celebration on April 3. The new facility currently employs nine people and specializes in repair and maintenance services for fire apparatus, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles serving agencies across eight counties in South Texas.

“Projects like this reinforce what we know about our North Industrial Park. It has a great location and is easily accessible to the entire Rio Grande Valley and beyond,” said Raudel Garza, executive director of the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (EEDC).

Siddons-Martin purchased the 3.5-acre property from the EEDC in 2022 and broke ground on the project that May. Company officials said the move to Edinburg enhances their ability to serve first responders more efficiently across the region.

Headquartered in Houston, Siddons-Martin Emergency Group is one of the largest emergency vehicle dealerships in the United States. The company is the exclusive authorized dealer for Pierce Manufacturing fire apparatus in multiple states and also represents manufacturers of ambulances, rescue boats, and other emergency vehicles.

The new site adds Siddons-Martin to a growing list of businesses choosing to expand at the Edinburg North Industrial Park, alongside RGV Tours, Nicho Produce, RGV CDL, and CIL Logistics.
