Edinburg to Host Free Easter Egg Hunt on April 17

EDINBURG TX — The City of Edinburg Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Thursday, April 17, offering a free, family-friendly event at Municipal Park.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the south side of the park at the soccer fields, located at 714 S. Raul Longoria Road. Egg hunts are scheduled in age-specific groups, beginning with children ages 3 and under at 6 p.m. and continuing in intervals for ages 4 through 12. A special accessible hour for individuals with disabilities will be held at 8 p.m.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Ages 3 and under: 6 p.m. (Field 1)
  • Ages 4 & 5: 6:20 p.m. (Field 2)
  • Age 6: 6:50 p.m. (Field 3)
  • Age 7: 7:15 p.m. (Field 5)
  • Age 8: 7:30 p.m. (Field 6)
  • Ages 9-12: 7:45 p.m. (Field 1)
  • Individuals with disabilities: 8 p.m. (Field 2)
