Edinburg Seeks Young Performers for Missoula Children’s Theatre Production

EDINBURG TX — The City of Edinburg will host open auditions for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of Alice in Wonderland on Monday, April 7, 2025.
Auditions are scheduled from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Edinburg Arts, Culture, and Events (ACE) Center. Students from kindergarten through 12th grade are encouraged to arrive by 3:45 p.m. and remain for the full two-hour session. No prior acting experience is required.
Approximately 50 to 60 roles will be cast, with selected students participating in daily rehearsals from Monday to Friday, each lasting about four hours and 15 minutes. The effort will culminate in two public performances on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Edinburg Municipal Auditorium, located at 200 N. 7th St.
Missoula Children’s Theatre is recognized internationally for bringing professional-level touring productions to communities, offering young actors the chance to perform under the direction of experienced MCT directors.
The City of Edinburg’s Cultural Arts Department expressed gratitude to the Rotary Club of Edinburg and the Edinburg Arts Foundation for supporting youth arts education in the community.
