Edinburg Municipal Court Launches Amnesty Program for Outstanding Fines

EDINBURG, Texas – The Edinburg Municipal Court is offering residents a chance to settle outstanding fines without additional penalties through its Amnesty Program, running from Feb. 17 to March 31, 2025.
Individuals with Class C misdemeanors, including outstanding traffic citations or warrants, can pay their fines or set up payment arrangements without incurring extra fees. Additionally, failure to appear charges will be waived for those who voluntarily come forward.
To participate, residents must appear in person at the Edinburg Municipal Court, located at 100 E. Freddy Gonzalez Drive, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
