EDINBURG, Texas – June 22, 2024 — The 18th Annual Big Squeeze Showcase Finale, originally scheduled for June 22, 2024, at the Edinburg Municipal Auditorium, has been postponed until August 3, 2024, due to unforeseen circumstances.
The highly anticipated event, organized by Texas Folklife, is a celebration of culture featuring a vibrant lineup of local talent, including “The Homeboyz” and performers such as Galilea Paz, Jesus Lozano, and Ashly Molina, among others. The evening promises a rich showcase of musical prowess, with master of ceremonies Veronique Medrano guiding the festivities.
Scheduled to take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 200 N 7th Ave, Edinburg, Texas, the event is supported by a variety of sponsors, including the City of Edinburg, H-E-B, the Texas Commission on the Arts, and the Edinburg Arts Program. The Edinburg Arts Program is committed to enhancing the cultural and artistic landscape of the community by supporting events that celebrate local talent and heritage.
