County Seeks Public Input for Parks and Recreation Master Plan

Edinburg, TX — Edinburg and Hidalgo County residents are invited to take part in a focus group session to provide input on the update of the Hidalgo County Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan. These sessions are part of the county’s efforts to engage the community in planning and enhancing local recreational facilities and open spaces.

The focus group sessions are scheduled as follows:

  • Wednesday, June 12 at 5:30 PM at Precinct 4 Field Operations Building, located at 1124 N. M Road in Edinburg.
  • Thursday, June 13 at 5:30 PM at Precinct 3 Administration Building, located at 724 N. Breyfogle in Mission.

These sessions will gather valuable feedback from residents to guide the future development and improvement of parks and recreational areas within Hidalgo County. Community input is crucial to ensuring that the updated master plan reflects the needs and desires of the county’s residents.
