City of Edinburg Introduces Innovative Customer Service Approach

Staff Reports

Edinburg, TX, January 11, 2024 — In a commitment to enhancing customer service experiences for residents interacting with city departments, the City of Edinburg has unveiled a new online-based initiative, inviting citizens to share their feedback after their visits.

The Customer Service Satisfaction Survey, which went live on Monday, January 8, 2024, on the city’s website, is designed to gauge the responsiveness and professionalism of city staff during interactions. The survey prompts residents to evaluate whether their questions or concerns were adequately addressed and offers an opportunity for them to provide additional comments on their visit or phone call.

The collected data will serve as a valuable tool in ensuring that every city department consistently delivers exceptional service. To facilitate accessibility, the QR code linking to the survey will be prominently displayed at all city facilities and available on the digital kiosk at the entrance of Edinburg City Hall (415 W. University Drive). Additionally, the survey can be accessed directly at www.cityofedinburg.com starting January 8.

Encouraging community participation, the City of Edinburg emphasizes the importance of residents sharing their feedback as part of an ongoing effort to uphold exemplary support, care, and satisfaction provided by city employees. This initiative aims to foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes the needs and experiences of Edinburg’s residents.
