Edinburg Fire Chief Snyder inducted into Texas Emergency Management Hall of Fame

Edinburg, TX – An Edinburg hero has been honored. Last week, at the Texas Division of Emergency Management State Conference held in Fort Worth, the late Edinburg Fire Chief Shawn Snider was posthumously inducted into the esteemed Texas Emergency Management Hall of Fame. 

This distinguished honor recognizes Chief Snider’s unparalleled commitment, tireless work, and unwavering dedication to emergency management throughout his illustrious career.

Chief Shawn Snider, who sadly passed away on May 1, left an indelible mark on the field of emergency management and in the fire service. His relentless pursuit of excellence in emergency response and preparedness made a profound impact on the community of Edinburg and beyond.
