Edinburg waives permit fees for fencing and roofing repairs after storm through May 19

Community encouraged to visit Building Safety Department for assistance

Edinburg, TX, May 8, 2023 – In an effort to alleviate the hardship caused by the April 28, 2023 storm, the City of Edinburg Building Safety Department will waive permitting fees for fence and roofing (shingle replacement) repairs beginning Friday, May 5, 2023, through Friday, May 19, 2023. 

Affected residents can apply for the necessary permits online through the City of Edinburg website at https://bit.ly/3p8GvKU or in person at the Building Safety Department office at Edinburg City Hall, located at 415 W. University Drive from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
