About 3,500 slated to graduate in UTRGV’s Spring 2023 commencement

EDINBURG, TEXAS – MAY 8, 2023 – UTRGV will graduate more than 3,000 students in the spring 2023 semester, with four commencement ceremonies May 12-13.

The first commencement will be in Edinburg at the Bert Ogden Arena.

The first ceremony begins at 9 a.m. for:

•     College of Engineering and Computer Science.
•     College of Education and P-16 Integration.
•     College of Health Professions.

The second ceremony begins at 1 p.m. for:

•     Mathematics and Science Academy.
•     School of Social Work.
•     College of Liberal Arts.

The third and final ceremony begins at 5 p.m. for:

•     School of Medicine (Bioethics).
•     School of Nursing.
•     College of Fine Arts.
•     College of Sciences.
•     Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship.

The second commencement will be at the UTRGV Brownsville Student Union Lawn, with a ceremony starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13, for all colleges.
