ECISD Board To Review Benchmark Results

The Edinburg CISD Board of Trustees will hold their regular meeting tomorrow. The Board will be facing fairly routine agenda this week.

The ECISD Board meets on Tuesday, February 28, at 6 pm at the Board Room at ECISD Administration 411 N. 8th Street, Edinburg.

Among the items on the agenda, the Board will see a presentation on the Benchmark II Results. The Benchmark tests are a series of assessments administered throughout the school year that show evidence of student growth. This will include completion rates, comparison with prior results and expectations for future student performance.

Among other items on the agenda, the Board will receive a report on enrollment as of February 23.

While the Board expects to go into executive session, no major action is expected. No major staff positions are listed for consideration or action.
