Man Critically Injured in Edinburg Three-Vehicle Crash
Edinburg, Texas — January 11, 2023
According to the Texas DPS, a man was critically injured Sunday night in a hit-and-run accident east of Edinburg.
The crash happened around 8:10 p.m., January 8, on Alamo Road south of Texas Road.
DPS said a white 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound behind a Toyota Tacoma.
The driver of the Silverado failed to control his speed and struck the Toyota.
The Toyota then veered to the southbound lanes and collided with a Ford van.
The Toyota driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to the hospital with major injuries and is in a coma.
The Ford driver did not sustain any major injuries.
The Silverado driver fled the scene on foot after the crash, and the authorities are looking for him.
