Greater Texas Credit Union Event Marks Edinburg Branch Renovation
EDINBURG – Greater Texas Credit Union is hosting a “Greatest Day” community event to celebrate the grand reopening of its remodeled Edinburg branch.
The carnival-themed affair will include fresh food from an array of popular local food trucks, family-oriented games for all ages, face painting, an on-site DJ, cash giveaway, and lots of door prizes. The event will be Friday, August 12, from 2 to 4 pm at 416 S. Jackson Road.

The 3,731-square-foot Edinburg branch, which originally opened in 2006, received an extensive interior makeover. The new design features a bright and fresh modern look and feel that offers a more personal banking experience, allowing Greater Texas to better connect with members.
The branch, with eight dedicated team members, is managed by 28-year Greater Texas veteran Susana Rodriguez.
The Edinburg branch offers a full suite of financial services with low rates and flexible terms to Rio Grande Valley residents. That includes mortgages and auto loans, insurance, and basic daily cash management services such as checking and savings accounts. Members also have access to qualified financial planners and financial education resources to help achieve their financial goals.
