Edinburg PD Seeks Man Wanted For Aggravated Assault With Deadly Weapon

On Thursday June 9th, 2022 around 9am, Edinburg Police officers were called to an apartment in the 1700 block of Powell Street in reference to a disturbance. After speaking with witnesses, investigators learned that 26-year-old Juvenal Garcia Perez showed up at the victim’s home, threatened, and pointed a gun at the victim. Garcia Perez then left the residence.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Garcia Perez, he is wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. 

Thursday after 6pm, the suspect vehicle, a white Ford Mustang, was located at Ware Road and Mile 8 1/2. Edinburg police officers, with the assistance of Hidalgo County deputies and DPS troopers, conducted a thorough search of the area, but did not locate Garcia Perez. We ask that if you see Garcia Perez or have information regarding his whereabouts, please do not approach him and call police immediately at 289-7700.
